This renovation took 16,000ft2 that was separated into 10 units and made it one unit for the new owner, Rocky Mountain Soap Co. ACS converted 5000ft2 into office space with a new boardroom, library, 3 separate meeting rooms, open office space to accommodate 45 employees and a cafeteria. The project also included 11,000ft2 of factory that had to be built to accommodate their existing soap-making equipment with room to grow.
Our team also added a 3-stop, 2500lb elevator to the building and structurally reinforced the main and 2nd floors for increased floor loading to accommodate the owner’s operations. ACS was involved from day one managing the preconstruction process and throughout construction to project close-out and final acceptance. This project also utilized a number of reclaimed materials, low VOC adhesives, and paints and has many high-efficiency utilities incorporated including a new high-efficiency HVAC system, hot water system, and an 8kw solar system.
